Coming soon (visible on purpose)

  • Comments inside embeds, guest edit after post, comment search, and mark-all-as-read. Threads, pins, replies, mentions, and the comments panel ship in the editor, Preview, and on Comment/Edit (and signed-in View) share links. See Comments.
  • Fork file on the public file menu.
  • Chart annotations (callouts, reference lines).
  • Flows — sequencing frames with transitions.
  • Content formulas inside tooltip, pop-up, and label templates ({sum(Region)}, {Value * 100}). Column, value, and series tokens work.
  • Ranked list, dumbbell, and slope marks do not open a tooltip or pop-up.
  • In-editor AI agent.
  • Product tour after the beta agreement.

Connected datasets (Google Sheets + Airtable)

Shipped in the editor: OAuth connect, read-only grid, manual Refresh. Publish does not pull from Google or Airtable — it snapshots whatever rows are in the project at publish time (refresh first if embeds should show newer data).
  • Read-only in Florence — no cell edits on a live link; detach (project owner) to edit locally.
  • Refresh is manual — no background or scheduled sync in v1.
  • Size limits — very large sheets or views (~10k rows / 100 columns) may be refused with a clear error.
  • Google OAuth — app verification is complete, so Sheets connect is not limited to OAuth test users.

Known rough edges

  • A theme keeps one look per chart type and per text role. Two bar charts in one theme frame share the first one’s look.
  • The Update dialog does not show a before/after preview.
  • Table column styles do not travel with a theme.
  • The first time a frame with an older theme opens, Florence upgrades the theme to the current format.
  • Facet grids are not wired for every chart type yet (pie, donut, big number, ranked list, bubble).
  • Some font families preview only after you select them.
  • If someone closes a tab without Florence noticing, they can stay in the “now” avatar list for about 90 seconds, then move to previously viewed.
  • Moving a project between workspaces drops it at the workspace root (folder is cleared).
  • Copy/paste of whole frames and blocks works. Copying only properties, or more elaborate multi-select paste rules, is not in yet.
  • Image auto alt text is labelled coming soon.
  • On the editor canvas, a tooltip or pop-up shows its tokens. Preview, a public link, and an embed fill them in.
